At first, 2 liter of milk should be boiled for 15 minutes. Then, Add 8 tablespoons of water and 4 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice with this boiling milk.
Take a dry piece of cloth to clean the sponge. Now, squeeze until it becomes soft. Make some balls with these sponges. Put these sponge balls into the boiling sugar syrup. Keep on high flame for another 15 minutes.
After 1 hour of cooking, our Bengali Sponge Rasgulla is ready to serve.
LEFTOVER SUGAR SYRUP MAKING:
We need sugar syrup to dabble the Rasgulla. To make syrup, take 8 cups of water and 4 cups of sugar. Boil it with full flame for 20 minutes.
